"The Art of Letting Go"
This is the Chinese phrase 舍得 ( she dé ), where 舍 (she) means "to give up" or "to let go," and 得 (dé) means "to gain" or "to obtain."
The calligraphy embodies the ancient wisdom that, in order to gain something greater, one must first release what they hold dear. It reflects the philosophy that loss is not an end, but a gateway to new opportunities. This artwork serves as a reminder that through letting go, we make space for growth, abundance, and transformation.
It's commonly displayed as a reminder of this timeless wisdom in homes and spaces, offering guidance and comfort in times of change.

Canvas ships rolled in a protective tube to save on shipping costs — frame it locally for less than buying it framed. An extra 2–5 inches of white border is added on all sides for easy framing and stretching.

WHY we don't sell framed painting?
Our goal is to make the entire experience simpler, more convenient, and more cost-effective for you. Shipping framed artwork usually leads to much higher shipping fees — often enough to cover the cost of professional framing nearby. In case a return is needed, rolled paintings are also much easier and more affordable to send back.

We don’t collect sales tax as we’re not a US-based business.
